Slow Sunday Stitchin' . . .

While watching the Denver Broncos win the Super Bowl, I was binding this cute little table topper ~

This little piece has a cute story that goes along with it!!  This past week we got a lot of snow here in Logan and so there is alot of snow piled up in the gutters around our homes.  My brother, Kelly, has an early morning newspaper route up in North Logan up on the bench.  Wednesday morning as he was going down one of the hills, he slid into one of the berms at the side of the road and got stuck.  The young lady across the street (who does not take the paper) came out with two shovels to help Kel out of the berm.

When Kel got home he told me what had happened and I said we need to do something for her to say thank you for being a Good Samaritan.  I thought a cute Valentine's table topper would be cute and Kelly agreed.  Just need to finish the binding and Kelly will take it over to her this week!!

Thank you, Mary, for helping Kelly out when it was super cold and snowy and you didn't have to come out of your warm home to help!!  You are the best!!

Hooking up with Kathy over at Kathy's Quilts Slow Sunday Stiching post.  Ccome on over to take a look at what everyone else was working on!!

GREAT WIN, BRONCOS!!  YAY!!

What a wonderful Thank You gift. It is nice to hear about stories when people offer help to others. So thoughtful of you to for your kind gesture.
